We at Hamran AS are committed to ensuring that you, as a customer, can trust that we handle the information you provide us with securely. Here you can read about how we collect and process your information.

Which personal data do we process and why?

If you contact us, we require your name, address, phone number, and email address for the purpose of conducting the quotation and sales process. These are necessary pieces of information for us to complete a potential transaction and to look up your information if you visit us again.

Following a completed transaction, you will receive an invoice from us. We are legally obligated to retain this information for the purposes of accounting, tax handling, and warranty services.

If you order installation through us, pictures of the fully assembled kitchen are sent from the installer to our office. This is done to document that the kitchen has been set up according to our guidelines. We retain these pictures for a period of 5 years, as they may be useful in the event of a warranty claim.

If you participate in customer events or activities organized by Hamran, you may be required to provide your name, phone number, and email address during registration and for participation in any contests. Providing this information is voluntary, and you will not receive targeted advertising unless you actively consent to it during registration. If you do not consent, any personal information received will be deleted immediately after the activity is completed.

We receive personal information that you choose to make public on social media. For example, we may collect information from your social media profile if you make a public post about us or mention us.

We take all reasonable measures to ensure that your personal information is only processed for the minimum period necessary for the purposes stated in this statement. The criteria for determining the duration for which your personal information will be retained are as follows:

(1) We retain your personal information in a form that allows identification only for as long as:
(a) we maintain an ongoing relationship with you (e.g., where you are a user of our services or you are lawfully included in our email list and have not unsubscribed);
or
(b) your personal information is necessary for lawful purposes stated in this statement, for which we have a valid legal basis (e.g., where your personal information is included in a contract between us and your employer, and we have a legitimate interest in processing that information to conduct our business and fulfill our obligations under that contract; or where we have a legal obligation to retain your personal information),

as well as:
(2) the duration of:
(a) any applicable limitation period under applicable law (i.e., any period during which any person may bring a legal claim against us in relation to your personal information or to which your personal information is relevant); and
(b) an additional two-month period (2) after the end of such applicable limitation period (so that if a person brings a claim at the end of the limitation period, we still have a reasonable time to identify any personal information relevant to that claim),

and:
(3) furthermore, if any relevant legal claims are made, we continue to process the personal information for such further periods as are necessary in connection with that claim.

During the periods set out in points (2)(a) and (2)(b) above, we limit our processing of your personal data to storage and maintaining the security of that data, except to the extent the data needs to be reviewed in connection with any legal claims or obligations under applicable law.

As soon as the timeframes in points (1), (2), and (3) above, to the extent they apply, have expired, we will either:

permanently deletes or destroys the relevant personal information; or

anonymizes the relevant personal information

Sensitive personal data

We do not attempt to collect or otherwise process sensitive personal data in our regular business operations. Where it becomes necessary to process your sensitive personal data for any reason, we rely on one of the following legal bases:

Compliance with Applicable Law: We may process your sensitive personal data where such processing is required or permitted by applicable law (e.g., to comply with our diversity reporting obligations);

Detection and Prevention of Criminal Activities: We may process sensitive personal data where such processing is necessary for the detection or prevention of criminal activities (e.g., fraud prevention);

Establishment, Exercise, or Defense of Legal Rights: We may process sensitive personal data where such processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal rights; or

Consent: We may process sensitive personal data where we have obtained your prior, explicit consent to process such sensitive personal data, in accordance with applicable law (this legal basis is only used for processing that is entirely voluntary – it is not used for processing that is in any way necessary or mandatory).

If you provide us with sensitive personal data, you must ensure that it is lawful for you to disclose such information to us, and you must ensure that a valid legal basis applies to the processing of these sensitive personal data.

Website Data: We collect or receive personal information when you visit any of our websites or use any of the features or resources available on or through a website.

Content and Advertising Information: If you interact with any third-party content or advertising on a website or in an app (including third-party plug-ins and cookies), we receive personal information from the relevant third-party provider of that content or advertising.

They only have access to the necessary information for the service to be performed.

1. Marketing, Cookies, and Web Analytics.

If you visit our website, we use cookies, and as a result, you may experience exposure to advertisements from Hamran Kjøkken when visiting other websites or apps.

2. Web Analytics and Cookies

Hamran also collects and processes non-personally identifiable information about visitors to hamran.no. We use common internet technologies, including Google Analytics, to gather information about users so that we can continually optimize functionality and enhance the information provided on the website. This information is obtained from the computer's web browser and may include the IP address, operating system, browser software (e.g., "Safari"), screen resolution, and referring website.

3. Google Adwords

We track how many of our users visit our website hamran.no based on clicks from a paid ad on Google's advertising network. Information about search terms and which search results are clicked on is collected.

4. Google Analytics

Google Analytics is an analytical service provided by Google. Google collects only anonymous information, such as the number of visitors, which pages you visit on our website, how long your visit lasts, and which link from which page you followed to reach our website. The collected information is processed by Google and used to generate visit statistics and reports that can show us how our customers use our website. We use this information to create reports and further improve the website. 5. Other Third-Party Providers

Third-party providers use cookies and anonymous identifiers on www.hamran.no to display advertisements based on your searches on this and other websites. We use remarketing, demographic and location-based targeted marketing, and other types of interest-based marketing.

6. You have the right to have your personal data corrected or deleted.

You can request us at any time to correct any incorrect personal information. You can also request us at any time to have your personal information disclosed or deleted. Please note that we need to have some information available to maintain the warranty on your product, and the warranty will be void if all information is deleted. We continuously work to ensure our customers' privacy. This privacy statement is updated in accordance with applicable data protection laws. It may be updated periodically, but any changes will only be related to enhanced privacy for you as a customer.
