About Hamran URL: https://hamran.no/en/about-us/ Type: AboutPage Updated: 2026-10-09 Information about who Hamran is. Joinery workshop established in 1930. Family business. Trond Hamran. History dating back to 1930 Hamran Snekkerverksted was established by Torleif Hamran together with two brothers in Snartemo in 1930. They started out with traditional joinery work such as doors, windows, staircases and workbenches before the business gradually developed towards bespoke kitchens and interiors – a tradition that has been carried through several generations of the family. Wood is a living material that ages beautifully, and when the customer can be involved throughout the entire process – from sketch to final result – we can together build something that brings joy for many, many years. By building something durable, we simultaneously avoid unnecessary logging, thus reducing the ecological footprint. A kitchen or interior from Hamran is meant to last, perhaps for generations. At Hamran, we take the time to talk with the customer about design, choice of materials and adaptation to the existing room. Through a mutual exchange of ideas, we work out how best to bring together the practical and the aesthetic. The choice of solutions and materials will ultimately be up to the customer, but we are happy to offer qualified advice throughout the process, and will do our best to accommodate any wish. Everyone is welcome to visit us at Snartemo, where you can see and feel the materials for yourself, get an insight into how we work, and experience how ideas take shape. Please get in touch beforehand to arrange a visit. Arbeidsbenken står langs panelveggen, med en reimdrevet maskin og skuffer under bordplaten. Reimene løper opp mot takbjelken, og en skuff står åpen blant verktøyet på platen. Source: Hamran Snekkerverksted AS Canonical: https://hamran.no/en/about-us/ Locale: nb-no
